Gary Lineker looks ahead to the tournament, which starts at the Stade de France in Paris on Friday when the hosts take on Romania.

The month-long showcase has been expanded to 24 teams for the first time, and British interest will focus on England, Northern Ireland and Wales, along with the Republic of Ireland, who all qualified for the finals, with arguably the standout tie of the group stage being England v Wales on 16 June in Lens.
