Report: Fulham's Luca de la Torre could land at New England on loan

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report

The New England Revolution are interested in acquiring Fulham attacking midfielder and US youth international Luca de la Torre on loan for the 2018 MLS season, according to British outlet westlondonsport.com.

The 19-year-old started all five matches for the US during last year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup, scoring once. Between October and January he made five first-team appearances for Fulham in the League Championship, but more recently has been reduced to action for the club’s U-23 squad.

At New England, de la Torre would see no guarantee of playing time for a side that counts Diego Fagundez, Kelyn Rowe, Cristian Penilla and Lee Nguyen (for now at least) among its attacking-minded midfielders.
